The area west of N. Pagosa Blvd. is mostly wooded and some of those lots border Martinez Canyon (National Forest). East of N. Pagosa Blvd. the terrain is mostly rolling meadow north of the equestrian center, with wooded areas on the Piedra Road side. Smaller lots – most are 1/4 to 1/3 acre. Included in the Pagosa Lakes Property Owners Association (PLPOA).
